We're Elijah and Savina Mayfield — the founders of Remember The Day and the team behind Mayfields Photography, one of San Antonio's most established wedding photography teams.
We started photographing weddings together while serving our church community in San Antonio. What began as a way to give back quickly became a calling. Over the past decade we've photographed 300+ weddings across San Antonio, the Texas Hill Country, New Braunfels, Boerne, Gruene, Fredericksburg, and beyond — and somewhere along the way we realized that as good as the photos were, there was an entire dimension of the wedding day that wasn't being preserved.
The energy of the first dance. The sound of the vows. The laughter at the reception. The quiet moment between the ceremony and the portraits when the couple finally exhales and looks at each other like — we actually did it.
That's why we built Remember The Day. Not to replace photography — but to capture everything photography can't.

San Antonio has incredible wedding photographers. What it didn't have — until now — was a dedicated studio focused entirely on wedding content creation. We're not videographers trying to do content. We are a content creation studio that understands the rhythm of a wedding day because we've been inside hundreds of them. We know when to be invisible and when to move. We know the moments that happen between the scheduled moments — and those are the ones worth capturing.
